At any given time there is always more labor available than employers can employ so that will always depress wages; therefore like Sweden (or Switzerland I don't remember which it is) we need a government minimum living allowance payable to all people. Then those that want to gain more can go work for whatever wages they are willing to agree with an employer - that's your fair market. It's only fair when both sides are equal. If a person doesn't have to work then the employer will have to pay them enough to make it worth their while.
