The library is the last, best socialized institution in America today and you're about to lose it

Has the library come up against it's match against the internet as the newspapers and magazines of the world have? 

Governor Bobby Jindal has eliminated the entire library budget in Louisiana.  Is your state next?​

If
the libraries are eliminated what happens to people that don't have
access to the internet either because they're living in the Midwest of
the US where DSL and Cable are not even options or they just can't
afford it?  In 2014, here in the US, people still don't have broadband. 
If they can afford it they're still using dial-up on their 56k modems.​
