Penny's closing 33 stores, Macy's laying off 2500, Sear's closing flagship store in Chicago.  Then there's the leftover buildings that all these places once filled.  Because we're in a spiral down and along with the shift to online shopping well they'll probably end up empty for years and years like back when the steel industry shut down.
